Over the past several weeks, I have been hearing a constant, intermittant
signal on a
frequency very close to 7103 kHz.

It is a steady, repeating carrier, sounding like someone is repeatedly and
constantly keying a
CW transmitter on and off.

I have not yet looked at it with a spectrum analyzer, but I am curious if
anyone else here has
noticed this "thing" and if you might have a clue about where it is coming
from,and what,
exactly it might be?

Once in a while the signal will change characteristics for a short while and
sometimes the
length of the dashes will change slightly, but it always reverts to the
relatively short and
continuous intermittant dash.
