Peter and gang,

I went out to an open field near my home to obtain more readings at 7am
this morning (chilly 9 degrees F), and everything is still very consistent
with my original readings from in front of my house. This morning from the
open field I obtained headings of 270 and 271 degrees versus my original
estimate of 265 and 270 from my house a few days ago. Therefore I would
say 270 degrees (+/- 5 degrees) from my QTH in Fishers Indiana is close,
and once again using an Iphone set to true North for my compass and using
crude sighting methods. I obtained the headings this morning using the
null as well as the peak on my portable flag (they were both in close
agreement with each other). I'm probably very far from the source so any
error in my headings will put me far away from the actual location of the
source.

We really need more headings with resolution down to 5 degrees (if
possible) or less unless you are very close to the source.

Just FYI,
Don (wd8dsb)
