Comments:

My plan was to only casually operate in 7QP this year and focus on IN and NEQP.
I had dental surgery which I am still recovering from now Thursday PM and the
pain was terrible Friday morning.

I was pleasantly surprised at the activity level except for 80M and especially
75M phone, but I worked more ops in IN than New England on 75M. I started off
with a brief S&P on 40 CW then went to 40 SSB and settled into a better than
expected run before long. Some stations were weak being somewhat distant from IN
for 40 during the day, but the callers kept coming for a while. By 1945Z 40M
signals were improving and continued to improve through sunset with almost all
IN stations easy copy. The activity level seemed to drop after about 22Z with
all of the NEQP activity not helping. KJ9C/M was last worked at 2045Z. I quit
just 20 minutes before the end. 20M was nearly not open at all until around 23Z
on some Es by which time most of the activity was long gone to 40M.

Thanks so much to the mobiles Mel, KJ9C and WN9O for adding a lot of counties to
my total. Mel moved to SSB to give me a mult 2-3 times and WN9O once. I was
amazed to catch 55 counties total on SSB.

Thanks to all who called or gave me a QSO. It was worth my time, and I could
easily work NEQP and INQP at the same time thanks to one log for all and good
prop at the same time on 40 and 80M.

73, Jeff
