Rainy park portable operation - 5W Elecraft KX3, 31-ft vertical end-fed in
tree.
Not a great night for me on 20 - couldn't get spotted by any skimmers, and
struggled to work the stations I did - thanks to K6AR, K1GU, and VK2GR.
40 is always a QRP challenge at 0300, and I managed 2 West Coast contacts (W6SX,
K7SS) in addition to my Big Island neighbors.
Thanks to Stan AH6KO and Dave KH6AQ for the 20/40 two-fers, and I finally worked
Heather AH7RF from her Big Island QTH on 40 meters tonight.
Thought about staying around for the 0700, but after making no contacts in that
period last week, I packed up early and took my stuff home to dry out! Maybe
next week...
