Comments:

Since the last CWT my wife and I took down the East and North beverages and
rolled up the coax. It worked pretty well, but it was about 1500 ft of RG8.

Started on 40. Good coverage with both loud and very weak signals, but no band
noise, so it did not matter. 0307Z - 26 QSOs, 0315Z - 52 QSOs, 0330Z - 93 QSOs.
Probably the best half hour I ever had. Some gaps, but moved along quite well
with a lot of 4 QSOs a minute. The whole USA was coming through. At 0338Z lots
of CQing. I sent in the Flex Maestro for repair again and also the remote
tuning knob was bad, so it is hard to S&P and adjust frequency quickly.

That being the case, I went to 80 at 0338Z. The vertical had high SWR. I hope
the guy who did the yard grading did not run over it! 80 was good anyway, but
22 QSOs that were not mults really hurt. I had to go to the top of the band
because it was so packed, so I felt away from the action.
