In two weeks I will be in Vanuatu as YJ0AX. I will be using a
vertical modified CB antenna. The antenna operates from 40 through
to ten metres with no coils or traps. It is a three quarter wave on
ten and 15, a three eighth on 20 and a quarter wave on 40 metres.
The antenna will be mounted within 10 metres of the edge of Erakor
Lagoon with an open veiw to the USA Carribean. I will be operating
the Oceania Dx Test using 100 Watts I have decided not to take an
amp but I may change on that one..
What would be your band switching options for the test ? I am
considering concentrating on merely USA and JA I open the discussion
to your input.
