Folks,
I am fixing an Omni D and, after solving a problem with the MC14528 on
the timebase board, now one of the presets does not work as expected.
I get consistent measurements of the VFO frequency on 1.8, 3.5 and 7
MHz. On 10 MHz the display shows 30.xxx and on the upper bands the
display show 8 MHz less than the expected (06.xxx for 14, 10.xxx for
18, ... up to 21.5xx for 29.5 MHz). The preset voltages show up on
the preset-amp board.
Any hint on where to look? The presence of display multiplexing
signals makes difficult to me to trace the problem.
Thanks for your help.
jon, ea2sn / ae2sn
