The Omni VI Plus is a real top notch CW contest radio. I have mine fitted 
with 1.8 KHz SSB and 500 Hz CW filters in the 9 MHz IF and then 1.8KHz SSB, 
500 Hz CW and 250 Hz CW in the 6.3 MHz IF.  Outstanding performance!  As to 
computer control, since I am not a contester I've never used it.  I do 
understand that it works well however.  Also I use it on several digital 
modes and it works very well.

Try to find a late model one which has the TXCO for the reference. It is 
more stable and better long term frequency accuracy.
