Thank you for the answers.  Luckily, 144 MHz is my only interest so ferrite
chokes might be helpful.  We'll see.

Not surprising, components like this are often poorly designed, ignoring FCC
Rules for RFI. The solution is to call on the supplier to fix that, and the
time to do that is before you sign on the dotted line. Suppliers tend to be
more responsive before they have our money.

Yes, but don't expect it to do much below 6M unless you can wind turns.
