Comments:

I did read earlier this evening the ARRL propagation bulletin, which warned of
multiple CMEs today and tomorrow. Propagation for me was the pits tonight -
nothing heard on 15 or 20, and normally strong signals on 40 were weak, watery
vestiges of themselves. Self-RFI to the logging computer on 80 was worse
tonight than normal - I don't understand its variability. The highlight of the
evening was 3 Qs on 160, triple my normal number on that band!

The power line arc noise that erupted a couple weeks ago is still terrible on
the lower bands - S9+10 on 160, S9 on 80, S7 on 40. That sure sucks the fun out
of looking for the weaker signals.

Until next week, many thanks for the Qs and 73,

MikeNH
