Comments:

They say you need goals to succeed. All I've done is try to beat last year for
any contest so I enable the goals feature in n1mm and try to beat each hour.
That's a lot of work - don't you have to wait for the top of the hour to take
your phones off? This time out I got motivated by looking at last year and
saying 3.6 is kinda close to 4 so I told myself to shoot for the 4 meg bracket.

I think the condx had a lot to do with why that 4 meg score happened. When I
hit 4 meg during Sunday's run I was told by one FRC pal? that I should put my
sunglasses on and go for 5. This was after the day's run was already in the
books but it was food for thought. Thank you Yoda!

The only thing new for this test was my 40m vertical and desire to improve my
so2r skill. I only really do serious so2r-ing for the cwts so I pushed the
issue and made a bunch of Q's on a 2nd band while running. I even did serious
s&p while clicking spots trying to make the most of each fraction of time
to
maybe hit that 4 meg plateau. I sorta thought I might just come close.

As it turned out I went beyond that 4 thing and I guess I have to work on 5 meg
before we start falling off with these fantastic solar numbers. Worked a lot
of
fun dx. Hope everyone had as much fun this weekend as I did.

Lots of activity - lots of pileups - lots of fun. 73 mis amigos
