Comments:

ANAN-7000DLE MKII SDR Radio
Elecraft KPA500 WATT Amplifier
40m 1/4 WL Vertical Antenna w/60 radials
20m Full Wave Vertical Circular Wire Loop
80m 134' EFHW Wire

I've discovered that SSB contesting with a full SDR was an interesting
experience. Here are some observations:

PROS:
-Great RX/TX performance on crowded bands
-Excellent graphic display of band activity
-N1MM configuration was easy
-No adverse hardware or software issues noted

CONS:
-Not having a VFO knob caused wrist fatigue and frustration
-Operating the spinning wheel on the mouse as a VFO was not ideal
-Too much fine motor hand movement to manipulate the mouse given the QSY rule
-Headphone monitor has excessive latency making it unusable

The ANAN will likely remain my go-to "daily driver" for general
operation. However, I will definitely use my Elecraft K4D next time for a more
traditional contesting user experience. I really missed having a big VFO knob to
quickly and accurately select frequencies using gross muscle movements rather
than fine motor skills to operate a mouse for hours.
