I intended to operate HP but in firing up the amp I heard arcing and saw the SWR
shoot up. I suspect a bad vacuum relay. So my plans changed to a LP entry. But
I'm happy to report you can make RTTY QSOs on low power and I ended up having a
great time in the contest. 10m was the go-to band. 80m was somewhat
disappointing. Highlight was working Chatham Is. on 10m and 15m. Overall there
was no lack of stations to work. Now I need to move the amp to the workbench...
