This QTH is in an urban area close to the city center,
and the noise level is moderately elevated up to S5-7.
Noise blankers help to cut about half of the noise.
S&P is the preferred mode: QRO helps to work almost all stations you can
hear.
CQing is a problem: "Small pistols" hear your kW but you don´t
hear them in the noise with a poor antenna.
The lesson: 100W with a directional yagi is better than 1 kW with a low dipole
