I'm confused by the rules; I'm running, a station calls me, I send his call
mycall R FM08, BUT HE DOES NOT HAVE TO SEND ME ANYTHING ELSE? That's weird and
wild. He gets to send 1 transmission? That's all to count as a contact? Not in
my book. At least 2 stations are not in my log because of this strange rule.
That needs to be changed!
I did discover how to deal with non-contestors that send a report with no
grid:
Turn CQ to OFF! Then I can pick whom I choose to reply to, thereby allowing me
to ignore the no-grid callers!
18 Qs x 18 grids equals 324 claimed points. Not bad, considering the number of
frequencies that we could look for signals on. Only 1 station on 80 (3.580), few
on 21.080, nada on 14.084.
