It has been a while since I have been very active in Contesting. In years past I was part of the VP9AD team that consistantly placed in the top 5 M/M in the world - finally winning in 1991. Prior to that I was quite active as G5CMX finishing in the top 3 in the world in the Ten Meter contest Multimode for most of the 5 years I lived in the UK. During that period I was also a participant on several high placing teams from EI and GW. I also won the Bermuda Contest while a resident of the UK.

My contesting activity has picked up in the past 2 years, and I will be much more active in the coming contest season (I took an early retirement this past December!). I was the third high US QRP entry in the 1999 CQWW CW test, and this past year my high claimed score is currently at the fifth postion world wide.
