My first CQWW
|
Hi there,
It was my first 48 hours contest, I never made it before, I usually made 4 or 6 hours, but never 48. That was my working condx:
160 M. Sloper
80 meters sloper
40 meters Rotatory Dipole
20 meters Optibeam OB-7 3
15 meters Optibeam OB-7-3
10 meters Optibeam OB-7-3
Ft-2000 and Win-test latest version.
Using a micro-keyer
I'm very happy, but I had a lot of QRM at home , my children was very noisy during the contest, and it was very difficult to hear low signal stations.
See you next year!!!

CQWW 2009 160m
|
First day I experienced very poor conditions on 160m,second day saw some improvement.
Overall,I eclipsed my winning 1st place finish by almost doubling my score in the contest.

CQ WW SSB 09

First night 80m was hard going and 160m deadly, but still fun. Heavy local QRN with l o n g static crashes made LF all bar impossible the second night in ZL.
15m made up for it though and when the 10m light flickered on, we went hard at it.
