I intend to operate a club station in SS. What should the 'check' be? The year the club call was first licensed or the year the operator at the time was first licenced? Different check for each op?

I would use the year the club was first licensed. That seems to be what most club operations use. It really doesn't matter, but you definitely don't want to use a different check once you pick one. Regardless of who is operating, it should stay the same throughout the contest.--Good luck and hope to see you in sweepstakes.

It (the check) is based on the year first licensed of the callsign used.
