The Potomac Valley Radio Club (PVRC) is pleased to invite the
participation of your members in our Contest Seminar to be conducted in
Fredericksburg, Virginia (about an hour south of D.C. near Route 95) on March
19 and 20. The Seminar is a unique opportunity to enhance contesting

While you may learn the 10 most closely guarded secrets at this seminar there is one secret they probably will not mention.
To be a really good top gun contester...you need more money than you know what what to do with so that you can buy all the stuff they are going to tell you about at the conference.
That is the 11th secret.

When you look at what people spend on other hobbies, contesting looks like a bargain! A racing gokart starts at about $5K, not counting the pickup and trailer you need to haul it around. How about a bass fishing boat, motor, etc, or 4WD and ORVs for the family? And we don't have entry fees each time we go out to play like golf, tennis, or whatever.
You can start cheap, and add hardware over the years as needed - it's a bargain!
