Focal
length does not change
A fixed focal length lens has a constant
focal length.�In other words, you cannot
zoom in and shoot like a zoom lens.�To
change the distance to the subject, the
cameraman must actually move.�However, by
shooting with a fixed focus lens, you will be
able to remember the distance to the subject
with your body, so you should be able to
acquire basic shooting skills.
The angle of view does
not change
The angle of view is the angle of view that
appears in a photograph.�With a zoom lens,
the image is enlarged or reduced by zooming
(manipulating the focal length), but since a
fixed focus lens cannot zoom, the image is
not enlarged or reduced.

bright
Compared to the structure of a zoom lens, the
structure of a fixed focus lens is very

pursue the image quality and brightness,
reasonable while a high-performance lens is

and the smaller the F value, the brighter the

We mentioned that Micro Four Thirds reduces
the length of one side of the sensor size to

if you want a full-frame equivalent of 50mm,

doubt that it will be useful in a wide range
of scenes, from street snapshots to portrait
photography.
Wide-angle fixed focus lens /
equivalent to about 5 to 17.5mm / 10mm to
35mm (35mm format equivalent)
A wide-angle fixed focus lens can capture a
larger view than the naked eye.�It is used
when you want to take pictures with a three-
dimensional effect such as nature, buildings,
and landscapes.�It will also be useful in
situations such as group photography where
you take a picture away from the
subject.�The weak point is that the image is
easily distorted.�However, there are also
cameramen and photographers who dare to
distort and take portraits that give a
photogenic impression.�Keep in mind that the
smaller the number, the wider the landscape
and the larger the image.
Telephoto fixed focal length
lens / approx. 35mm ~ (35mm format
equivalent)
A telephoto fixed focus lens that can shoot
farther than a standard fixed focus
lens.�This lens is mainly used for shooting
situations where it is difficult to get close
to the subject, such as�children's�athletic
meet, sports, wild birds, and railroads.�The
larger the focal length number, the farther
you can see.�On the other hand, please note
that the larger the focal length number, the
longer and larger the lens, and the higher
the selling price tends to be.
