Party... a great way to end the year!
It's been many years since the N6RO station did a multi-op in Winter RAC. This
time our team included two remote ops and four local ops, with several SSB-only
or CW-only, and several on both modes. Coverage was aided by SO2R/SO2V/2BSIQ in
both modes and cross-mode. This resulted in a fair amount of reconfiguring
antennas and stations, all of which was accomplished without a hitch. Bands were
manned as follows:
* 10m - WD6T and KK6PXT
* 15m - WU6P and NN6U (+ WD6T)
* 20m - WD6T (+ KK6PXT, WU6P)
* 40m - WX5S and KK6PXT (+ NN6U, N6RO)
* 80m - WU6P, NN6U and N6RO
* 160m - N6RO
Our goal was 2000 QSOs, and we were happy to exceed it by a wide margin. Though
our antennas pointed squarely at VE, we had good conditions to Europe and Asia
on the top four HF bands, with 54 DXCCs worked. The only shadow was cast by a
rain storm on Friday which coincided perfectly with the low band openings,
causing rain static woes, particularly on 160 meters.

Chris N6WM, who has been replacing the computers and handling IT.
