Comments:
Normally I would expect "best band" to go up in frequency with
increasing sunspot numbers. But MY best band went DOWN this year -- from the
usual 20 meters to 40 meters! 40 was the band that never quit producing for
me!
Lots of hardware problems this year, including the abrupt failure of my 80-meter
dipole remote switching box early Friday evening, which severely curtailed my
time on that band.
