Finally 10.000 QSO from EU. Glad to finally have broken this personal target.
10.000 QSOs, dupes not included.
This is a new EU record, and hopefully guys like EA3M, will eventually get it.
First I want to name a few persons, without them, CR6K would not be possible.
Solange, my GF, for bearing this crazy hobby, 2nd my mother Celeste and my
father José CT1CJJ, for all the incredible support on the crazy hobby
(especially when we have 13 guys on the house for the multi ops) and of course
Jose without his persistence and ingenuity, we were not able to take this to
this high level, and 3rd Joao CT2IMG, for the last few years, Joao, has been
like a brother, he knows what to do, when do and how to do it. Thank you for all
the brainstorming during the week, the persistence, even if Murphy showed during
the week, had made us prevail, thank you all !
I cannot forget to mention Mister Cantante, which has brought a very valuable
new addition to the station!
The contest started somehow "slow" compared to last year, it pickup a
little but went down. Low bands were incredible 1st day, USA was very loud and I
am happy I spent some time running on 160m, more than what I used to.
Conditions were amazing, 10m much better 2nd day, worked a few JAs, which is
quite rare for us.
15m is always our money band, always performs amazingly well.
40m was way down, noisier and expected to be more productive.
I tried to pass every single multiplier possible, some of course did not, but
those who we did, THANK YOU, I name a few because you guys are amazing, MD2C,
A65CW, P40L, CU2DX, AB2E/VP9, HQ9X, VO2AC, 4U1A, YV8AD, VU2TMP, ZL2IFB, C6AQQ,
VP5M !!
