Comments:
My first CQWW CW was in 1959 when I worked a handful of stations, including
OQ5IG in the Belgian Congo. Funny how time flies.
Heard but did not work zones 17, 24, and 26. The last 2 were with the beam
pointed west near the contest end. No way to crack the JA pile.
Great fun! Worked 3 stations in zones 37 and 39 and several in Zone 38. There
was no shortage in Europe or South America.
K3S, KPA-1500. Mosley PRO-67B up 118 feet and a Mosley TA33 driven element at
48 feet to work zones 6, 7, 8, and 9. Works great.
