Start of the contest was super hard. AU levels up here @ almost 60 deg N were
horrible. First hour only 70ish QSOs. Had to move to 160 at the beginning to
work 1 pointers. 2nd hour was already more promising but still not a single beep
from US. Few hours into the contest bands started to open up a bit and from
there it was just trying to push Q's and Mults as much as possible.
Saturday afternoon provided some nice rates and it was so until 22Z when the
bands closed once again for me. Sunday as most of you sensed was much more worse
than Saturday. Nevertheless station worked OK, no major issues, just the
propagation...
Felt physically good and took around 2 hour nap just to be sure. Probably would
have handled the full 48h too.
