I dislike phone contests but thought it would be a good experiment to see the
propagation difference between NC and my remote in Ontario, Canada. I only
worked S&P for just multipliers and some friends. This operation was Sunday
with my VE3 operation Saturday. I tried to keep the operating time close.

I think the result shows the propagation advantage that NC has and I am 4 hours
from the ocean with compromise antennas. The Longitude is almost the same but
of course the latitude is different. I worked 118 DXCC vs. 123 from Canada
although one call was usually all it takes from the better Canadian station
(VE3CT). It was a lot more work from NC. Conditions were pretty good from both
both Saturday and Sunday.
