Comments:
What can I say? Poor propagation and poor participation. I don't think we
worked any US stations. At 00:00z we gave up and went to full time CA QSO
Party. There just was not anyone else to work. Most of whom we could hear we
did work. The putouts were few and far between. Most was S & P.
We did however have the pleasure of introducing a couple to contesting for the
very first time. Both enjoyed RTTY mode as well as SSB on the CA QSO party. We
all had a great time and our new operators had plenty of time start learning the
station and our computer programs. It was a relaxed comfortable atmosphere for
being introduced into this great sport of Amateur Radio. The food was excellent
as usual and we had no equipment issues.
