Comments:

15M didn't sound too good before 1900Z, so started on 20. I had thought with it
being a work holiday in the USA (the only reason I could be QRV for the 1900Z
session there might be more activity than usual, but I guess it worked the other
way with less activity due to conflict with family gatherings. Our family were
all busy with some other activity that didn't include us Any activity was very
sparse. Two from Europe (CT7AUP and (9A1AA) and the rest from North America.
There was a long skip zone and th closest station worked on skip was probably
N4BA in VA. Did owrk W4QDV about 100 miles away on ground wave and heard K3Ut
on 20M groundwave. Went to 40M about 1940Z, but there was very little activity.
I had some noise and I heard KO4VW about 100 miles to my north working a VE3
that I couldn't hear at all. So, worked those on 40 whom I could hear and who
would answer me and went back to 20 to finish up. 20 was about the same as
before, but did pick up some new ones. Good signals from the Pacific NW and
fair signals from CA. Thanks for all QSOs. May be on at 0400Z for an half hour
or maybe not. Happy Labor Day. 73, John, K4BAI.
