Comments:

It was all great except the high bands dying for a while in the middle of the
day, around 2200. Thankfully, they came back after I took a 30 minute break. I
was very pleased to work all 50 states plus DC, PR, and VI. Idaho had me worried
for a while. WJ9B disappeared just as I was tuning to him on 80 meters. But he
came back, and then to top it off AB7R called me a bit later while I was
running.

The hard thing about this contest is the QSOs are harder without a kilowatt on
both ends. BUT ... the level playing field attracts so many more stations that
it's worth it! Lots of call signs that I don't regularly hear were welcomed into
my log.

73 & thanks for the Q's
Carl WS7L
