Bands were awful here today. I spent the first hour trying to see why I heard no
signals, not even WWV. I went to the broadcast band it it worked just fine. My
antennas all checked ok. Finally about 4 minutes in signals started coming up.
For the first 3 hours the QSB was bad. A station would be calling at S9 and on
the next transmission I had to use my imagination to hear him. Got better as
sunset came on.
