Comments:
I enjoy this contest because it affords some easy time management with its
24-hour duration and starting on a Saturday morning. As IARU Secretary I also
have the privilege of being one of the special “AC” multipliers. That’s
always fun but I always run in to at least on station that believes I’m
sending a bogus exchange!!
15 meters was stellar on Saturday, 20 meters did not open here until later in
the afternoon, and 10 meters was pretty much dead except for some South America
stations. Once 20 opened up I almost spent too much time there and came close to
missing SR in EU but was able to catch a good number of mults & Q’s.
Looking forward to hear the results from WRTC competition. Was good to have
those stations on the air. At my QTH the signals from all the stations were very
equal which, of course, is the plan.
