Comments:
It was good to be in front of the radio gear again. The demands of work and life
have kept me away from contests for the past six months.
I've been operating FD from home the past few years and I really enjoy it. With
the exception of a few voice contacts, this year's effort was all CW. I had
hoped to set another new personal best but it just wasn't in the cards. Storms
coming through the Midwest and a lot of atmospheric noise put a damper on the
effort. Still, 600+ Q's is much better than nothing.
