The surprise geomagnetic storm that hit near the start of the contest shredded
propagation on Saturday across the bands here. But from about 2000Z to 2200Z on
Saturday 20m opened a bit here on the Atlantic coast of South Florida. Then at
around 0100Z 40m opened for a while. During the final hour or two 15m had an
opening and I even managed a contact with a very patient P3X in Cyprus with my
puny signal. Station: Bioenno LiFePo-powered KX3/PX3 @ 5w to an 80-10m EFHW
configured in a horizontal curve about 30 feet up. Logging: N1MM. This was my
first KOS contest. Looking forward to next year.
