I'd intended to operate in the contest, but completely forgot about it when
Saturday rolled around. However, I always have the rig on in the shack, tuned
to 50.313, and when I heard a bunch of tones coming from the shack, I
remembered. I got on about an hour after it started, and I think the early
surge had petered out somewhat, still managed to work a few folks.
