Comments:
This contest is always very special for our friends in South America and because
of that we love to participate.
We had a mixed group of operators and nobody could really put in a full time, so
it was a come and go all weekend.
I would like to thank Krassy K1LZ for coming over to my place in between
traveling and also bringing Lars KE1J to our station.
We decided to take a few breaks as well and have our meals together.
The station still needs a few repairs from the winter in New England. Most
antennas were performing as they should but some systems still need work.
Conditions were a little better on Sunday but still not great. 10 m to Europe
was pretty much skew path over Africa all weekend.
Towards the end of the contest, the low bands were extremely noisy and it was
very hard to copy anyone. We apologize if we just could not pull you out of the
QRN.
