Comments:

95% S&P
New QTH in the very quiet mountains of W7 (Idaho, Washington, VE7 border). It
wasn't the tropics. In fact, had to plow the deep snow from the gravel, narrow
driveway up to the cabin to unload.

100W
160/80: 2L full-sized beam, NE/SW JA/SE
40-10M: 2L full-size rotary Yagi with matching-switching for 20-10.

40 was the real winner for sheer signal and worldwide opening. For example, 3B8M
was S9 at times, Europe came through at sunrise long pat AND direct, and the
JA's were hitting 30dB over on the meter. Even with 100W, a quick CQ seemed to
get a caller from Asia. Sure, plenty of struggles too, the Murphy-nature of the
game.

Memory lane highlight would be calling guys in EU or South Asia that were below
S-0 on 10/15 and actually getting called back over their pile ups... with 100W!

I hope it's a sign of things to come...

Until the next one, have fun!
