Comments:
First 3 hours were tremendous! Best start ever.
Next 3 hours were lackluster.
Then the noise came up on 40 and 80 meters and the rate went into the toilet.
Sunday's rates were not much better. Except for a couple of good hours on 20
meters, it was the usual Sunday slog. It seemed like all the high scorers were
calling CQ endlessly with few responses. Conditions didn't seem that bad - maybe
everyone is on FT8 these days? I left over 20 QSO's on the table from weak
stations who couldn't get the exchange through, or non-contesters who couldn't
provide the year they were first licensed! But at least a sweep was easy as I
picked up a few AK's and there were at least 2 VY2's running around. At the end
of the day, the SS is always a challenge!
