Comments:

Finally got back into this one after a lot of factors. Studied what I could
accomplish with the time available and other issues and picked this category.
Watched 10M on and off all week leading up to the contest and it looked
favorable for what I wanted to do. Not disappointed! Had fun and made my goals!

Friday at the starting gun jumped in and looking west/nw faced the west coast
wall! Some KH6, KH2, and JA's heard but no joy! Could not break the wall. Did
snag a FK8 who called in. After one and half hours I pulled the switch with
3q/6mult/30pts. LMAO!

Saturday back on 1159Z for the EU run and it was off to the races! Great run
rates with 115/hr best hour. Jumped around after EU run for q's to the
south/west/nw calling CQ and every once in a while did a scan of the band for
mults. 90% running Saturday. Had some great double mults call in from west/nw
and pulled the switch at 2318Z with 377/75/78,150.

Sunday 1213Z the EU run and it was better than Saturday. Unbelieveable action.
Highest run rate 144/hr and then around 1723z went south. At around 1930Z as
things were really slowing down decided after looking at my country/mult needs
it was evident that I needed to go looking for whatever I could find. Tuning the
band looking for what was needed not necessarily a standart qso I found some of
the easy loud Carribbean stations as well as going west and finally able to put
a KH6 and a JA in the log. I only found one JA that was loud that I thought I
could work and snagged him. Heard many others working JA but had no copy. Glad I
got the one as well that elusive KH6 for some reason. Around 80% running and 20%
search for what was needed to get the mult count up. 10M was insane!

Splatter was terrible! Was I on 20M or 40M? Use the ALC!

Ended with 840/117/280,215

C3 18 foot boom, 4 elements on 10M at 50 feet

Thanks for the q's/mults!

73! Ed K5OF
