Comments:

40 was really moving at the start. It slowed down, so I did some S&P and
went to 20 at :35, checking 80 (nothing) while the SteppIR was retuning. 20
wasn't too bad for the first 10 minutes, then got really tough. I could hear all
kinds of signals in the background on my run frequency that didn't seem to be
calling me (or those that were were being trampled by others) with nothing
showing up on RBN. I could only make out pieces of calls with what sounded like
4 or 5 stations at once. Switched frequencies a couple of times but things
seemed to have run dry. I hope for better conditions on 20 this afternoon.

Thanks for the calls and sorry if I couldn't pick you out of the noise. The
increase in tinnitus from going SCUBA diving yesterday hasn't helped. Hopefully
that will be better by this afternoon as well.

73,
Chris VE3NRT.
