Comments:

Something wrong with keying interface to amp so had to run LP. The 5/5 yagi
stack made it palatable and I managed to get runs going three or four times by
getting up around 28.990 MHz. Got a nosebleed from that.

The hotshot operators who refuse to say "thanks" after a contact are
jerks. There are a lot more of them with each phone contest. I guess we are
just to assume the operator got the report sent to him.

A high percentage of hams in Italy, Central and South America spend $2,500+ on a
rig and transmit horrible distorted, mainly unintelligible audio.

Phone contests are just like greasy pork chops: All of a sudden, you've just had
enough.

Looking forward to the CW and RTTY tests remaining in the contest season.
