Comments:
After having obvious RF feedback problems with FLEX 6600 last weekend I decided
to go barefoot. The FLEX 6600 still had mind of its own. When it works, then
it is a best radio out there. FLEX is simply a high maintenance and
non-dependable radio. There was no RF feedback problem anymore (no lost
ethernet packets) but in SO2R thing was not switching properly. Error messages
popping up. Antenna switching A/B errors. Keyer locking up / keying wrong
radio. ATU does not work with SO2R - PO was pulled back to 40-80W due to 'bad'
SWR. Time to tinker more with radios. Part of the fun. Lucky that we have a
Santa :)
The contest was good. It was a fun. Thanks for every Q. Usually 40m is my
money band but with some 60 Watts it wasn't. 73's to all
