Comments:

Ouch, I really wanted to do better for the last session of
ladder. 15m was hot, but as soon as I started, I found I had
no sidetone/monitor which made sending difficult. I carried
on... Then, as soon as I switched to 20m the receive audio
went scratchy and warbly, followed by a Windows Blue Screen.
I rebooted and setup again, for another perfect crash. Then
I remembered having this problem before when Windows Update
puts in a new audio driver, and if I uninstall and use the
previous one I "should" be back in business. Many minutes
later I am back in business - and everyone has moved on.
I chase the remaining few on 40m until the time is gone.
Conditions seemed really good, my computer really bad.
I guess its time to go straight key, paper and pencil.
