Comments:

My score includes 5,500 bonus points for mobile contacts.

5 QP's all at once together with RT 66 SES and POTA makes for some very crowded
space. I disagree with the TXQP move to this crowded weekend. I don't think it
has increased TXQP activity; the causal op participation seems lower to me.

Last year the solar flux index was 73, now in 130's, but that is not all good.
15M was open both days to TX with very limited activity; the best condx were the
15Z hour Sunday when even NE TX was loud; more often large parts of NTX were
skipping over me here on 15. 20M signals took a nose dive around 1545Z Saturday,
so I opted for a serious effort in the NJQP where 40 was open vs. skipping over
NJ last year. The mobiles were weak enough on 20 for much of Saturday afternoon
that working them would have been frustrating from here. Sunday was a bit
better, but W5CT was very weak at times.

Thanks for the QSO's. Many thanks as always to the mobiles: W5CT 19 Q's, N5NA
17, K5CM 15, KI5MM 10, K5PS 8, and WW5X 6 QSO's. Running on 20 SSB Sunday was
less successful than past years despite having mostly very clear frequencies.
Saturday the band was pretty full.

73, Jeff
