Comments:
1. Never got any real traction on SSB. This was extra frustrating, I wasted 34
minutes OF CONTEST TIME to get SSB going (advance prep for same having also been
a bust).
2. Heard no one on 10M, no response to CQs. 15M was better, got one answer to
CQs but no one else heard. At least I picked up a few souvenirs on 160M. 20M
was decent but lots of QRN after about 2100Z. 40M was good, and 80M started
picking up around 2200Z.
3. It was great to be popular for a while. It's always fun, but usually when I
call CQ it doesn't interrupt anyone's nap. Being on the receiving end of the
pileup has that little extra ego boost.
