Comments:

For the first time, the ARRL Digi contest was a success.  Lots of activity.
It was frustrating at times because of people that did not read the rules or
demanded to exchange signal reports ONLY.  After the first hour most
participants had figured it out, exchange only the grid square info.  The ARRL
should add to the rules an explanation of how to change the setup of WSJT so the
ARRL VHF or WW Digi setups be used for correct contest operation.
I was surprised how well FT4 handled the lower signal levels of a supposed low
power contest. I shifted to FT8 just to see if I could eek out a few long
distance QSOs for extra points but I couldn't deal with the sloooowness of FT8
and went back to FT4.
