Comments:
This one was a last-minute operation. N5DO and AC6T were unable to operate their
normal M/S under the sun. Bill, W9KKN and I decided to try and do another remote
multi after our fun during NAQP CW. At the last minute, my good friend Krassy
K1LZ, introduced me to Serge, UT5UDX and he joined us from Spain. On Friday
afternoon, Axel, KI6RRN rounded out the crew. The four of us split up the
operating time, and off to the races we went.
Despite the great conditions we experienced all week leading up to the contest,
we did not experience these conditions during the event. Conditions were average
at best, with 10m barely opening to EU for a little bit each afternoon, and 15m
not meaningfully opening until long after our sunrise.
The station is in great shape after the recent antenna upgrades and new gear
that was added.
As always, a huge thanks to Andrew, ZF1EJ and the Cayman Amateur Radio Society
for the use of the world-class station.
