Comments:

It seems that, generally, propagation (and/or participation?) was not as good as
the SSB version.

Got a late start Friday and was pleased to see the band open to all over the
place until after midnight local time! Too bad there weren't more operators
taking advantage of it...

I hoped the band would continue its "openness" Saturday, but I was
disappointed. Signals here were generally weak. I could not get any kind of
run going at all. Sunday morning was somewhat better, but not a whole lot. The
late afternoons both days were the best, but I couldn't run as well as I did in
the SSB version. A couple hours before the end of the contest the band was
pretty much deserted. So I hung up the headphones at that point and watched
some NASCAR racing.

I did employ my 40 meter vertical as an optional antenna. This worked out well
for contacts off the side of the dipole.

Thanks for the QSOs!
