Almost all S&P with one short run to JA late Sunday (that included several
OHs). Always a lot of fun, although 15m didn't seem quite as good this year
compared to last. But it was great to see all of the activity on the band.
I always spend too much time between the EU closing and the JA opening tuning
and looking for stations to work, which really hurts the rate. This year way
too many US stations trying to work way too few DX during the slow period. As a
result witnessed a lot of bad pileup behavior on the part of many US ops. If
everyone doesn't listen, no one gets to work the DX.
Already looking forward to next year ... maybe 10m will be wide open!
