Comments:
After our first thin layer of snow we got a
warm front pushing in with a lot of static.
The only Stateside signal I could hear was
Bob N4BP on 7032.3 with a USA-pileup and a
half dozen Europeans calling, with EX8TR
among them. Half a kilohertz higher I heard
4Z5ML work N1YL with RST exchanges.
I decided to check out my Loop-on-Ground
on 3.5 MHz, and I was surprised to hear
AB1KT with CQ SST. However, I don't have
an efficient radiator, only my short sloper.
I went back to test 7 MHz with the L-o-G
and there was still only N4BP with maybe
better SNR on the loop (less WX-QRN).
