Late start as I did not expect to participate as much as I did, but strong trade
winds are pushing tons of moisture up the slope of Mauna Kea. Planned yardwork
was a bust, so radio and coffee it was.
Decent activity and band conditions. There was significant flutter/echo on 40M
sigs over the pole. The humans on planet Earth expect the sun to rise and set
each day, completely oblivious to the fascinating solar wx and its impact on
radio/satellite communications, etc. The sun's effect on propagation is way cool
and we are fortunate to be able to experience the highs and lows.
